Muhammad Ali, formerly known as Cassius Clay, was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 17, 1942. He started boxing at the age of 12 and when he won his first ever fight, he knew he would become a legend.

Martin, who was also a boxing trainer, suggested that the upset youngster first learn how to fight, and he took Clay under his wing. He was a 3 time heavyweight champion, won 56 fights and lost 5, won gold in the olympics, traveled the world as an ambassador of peace, and fought for everything he believed in.
